Period Properties and Cornicing

Wallpaper seams are hidden where possible. Where they cannot be hidden, they are positioned to be least visible.

1. Consultation and wallpaper selection.

2. Existing wallpaper removal.
If there is existing wallpaper, we remove it carefully. Walls are inspected and any damage is repaired before new paper is hung.
3. Surface preparation.
Walls are cleaned, cracks are filled, and loose areas are sealed. For period properties, lining paper is hung as a surface.
4. Wallpaper hanging.
Paper is measured, cut, and pasted. It is hung wall by wall, starting from the focal point. Pattern matching is precise at every seam. Excess paper is trimmed at ceiling, skirting, and corners.
5. Final inspection.
We inspect the finished work in natural light. All seams are checked for alignment and adhesion. Any final adjustments are made before we leave.
